O.D.B.'s real name was Russell Jones and he lived in Brooklyn. The New Yorker has a story about the Russell Jones that lived in Brooklyn, except he's neither dead nor O.D.B. In fact, the last few years Russell Jones received a lot of calls where the caller thought he was in fact O.D.B. Hilarity sometimes ensues.
