Was Bush "teleprompted" during the debate?

There's a site out there speculating that Bush may have had an earpiece telling him what to say during the presidential debate with John Kerry. I've been surprised at how Bush is able to consistently not make a fool of himself in front of national tv, and this would be a good reason why he hasn't. If this is true, I think this is an unfair advantage for him and I really hope the media does out this (or at least the blogosphere will get on the horse and force mainstream media to out this)

There's not a doubt in my mind that he uses ear pieces often for help...it's obvious because sometimes when he talks in public he sounds like he has half a brain and other times you can tell he's being himself hahaha.

I love listening to him to Q&A on his own though (you can tell when he isn't getting help by the words he choses) -- pure jokes!

yeah, so i wish he had to have done the debate without an earpiece, he would get destroyed. i want to see what happens if he was outed too.

well i think the public has the right to know regardless of party politics that one of the candidates that they'll vote to run the most powerful nation in the world doesn't have free will and needs an earpiece. or maybe i just want to hear the fallout ;)
